A nice location & lovely views. Friendly staff & good communication.
We were there for 4 nights & there were a few maintenance problems. Sink taps loose, door into the bathroom jamming, draw in vanity unit drops on the left hand side. Bulb over mirror blown, part of window latches were missing and the windows didn't close tightly and let in a draught. No fire evacuation plan on the back of the door, as mentioned in the compendium, re What to do in a fire emergency. Filter on air con unit needs serviced it was displayed on control unit.
We went to front office & talked to the receptionist about the faults. She was going to get the manager to repair the faults. No one came & did anything for our whole stay. When we check out we talk to the man in reception & told him about the issues we had previously reported on our second day and explained that we had not had a great experience and it did not meet up to the five star rating. At no stage was there a sorry or an offer to talk to the manager.
The Manager was going to email us regarding the above and haven't heard from him.

Beautiful location and views. The cleanliness of the room left alot of doubts about the Heritage hotel taking the Covid restrictions seriously. Upon arrival at the hotel we were told our room was not ready due to extra cleaning and then required sanitization. After an hour we were told our room was ready. Once arriving in our room we were amazed with the views and the size of the room. However, that's where our joy soon turned to disappointment. There were grubby fingerprints and handprints over all the handles and windows. The large glass coffee table was covered in marks from coffee cups, glasses. The glasses in cupboard all covered in fingerprints. The cushion on armchair had a large brown stain on it. The shower had black mold on the grout between the tiles, not to mention the handprints on the glass door. I fail to see how this room was cleaned let alone cleaned the so called extra cleaning to sanitize. For a place selling themselves as a luxury accommodation hotel they set the bar very low. For the price we were paying for the night we would of expected a lot more. Another disappointing thing was upon arrival none of the staff behind the reception desk nor the guy behind the bar were wearing masks. When we informed the lady on the desk about the state of room upon checkout, she said they were short staffed and were struggling to keep up. The lady did offer us a free breakfast. Bit of a lame excuse in regards to the staffing shortage. Especially in these times where cleanliness and germs are at the front of everyone's minds. All I can say is, make sure your cleaners are up to scratch as the views alone wont keep people coming back.

Awesome break away in 19B … definitely worth staying here and soo handy to Cromwell either by car or by walking/biking along the lake edge into the town. The venue was very quiet when we were here and we could easily have stayed a few more nights but needed to get back to work …

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel last May! The rooms are so nice and tidy. I've got no issues about the cleanliness. The staffs are great and will greet you when they see you! The food that we ordered in the restaurant were delicious! I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone!

Exceeded our expectations. We had room number 1 with outstanding views of the lake. Lovely large living space and bedroom. Beautiful bathroom with underfloor heating. Kitchen had everything needed for food preparation and more!
We enjoyed the spa pool downstairs which has a view directly over the lake.
The bed was large and comfortable and had an electric blanket which we were very thankful for the first night.
There is little sound proofing though and the neighbours upstairs we not very considerate.

Room tip: Toiletries and bathrobes provided so you can pack lighter! Spend time having your morning coffee admiring the view.
