Outstanding

We visited twice last week while away in our touring caravan at Home Farm Bircher. Sunday lunch and Thursday evening. Both meals were excellent. My wife tried Tudges Sausage and Mash and was very impressed (she's very picky about sausages). I had the confit duck leg on Thursday and that was brilliant. Also worthy of note is the lovely Five Ravens Romanian Pinot noir at £18. Cosy atmosphere, great staff and a very good fizz offer for 4 people or more on a Thursday.

Always feel really safe as the Covid rules are rigorously applied with lots of space between tables.

This is rapidly becoming our favourite pub in Herefordshire as its friendly, welcoming and has a really nice vibe. Love it.

Excellent real ale and food

Great well run friendly pub, now run as a community pub.
Inside and out very well kept and clean.
The real ale is well kept and pulled right.
Well done Chris and Hollie and the rest of the community.

Excellent food and ambience

We ate here three evenings on our three day stay at Richards Castle. Food was excellent, staff very friendly and a lovely pub garden. Would certainly recommend.

Great lunch

Recently refurbished, the Boot is a great option for lunch or dinner.
Welcoming, and attentive team who make some excellent food.

It’s a pleasure

I have been to the Boot many times since it was bought by the community and completely renovated. Although in character with its black and white exterior it is comfortable and welcoming. The food is first class. I hope to visit many more times in the future.
