This was a family visit to mark a special day. Perfect selection of kid friendly fare and good selection for mums n dads too.
Really busy but less than 15mins from order to delivery to our table. Good vibe that Robyn and Kerry n team have got going here.
Recommend this place for all seasons as great indoors and outdoors areas with a nice mix of table chair arrangements and sun and shade areas

The setting was magnificent as was the in and outside dining options, layout and decor. Being 11am we had the option of ordering from either the breakfast menu card or from the chilled cabinet and as such six of us ordered from the menu and the remaing couple selected something from the cabinet. What was clesrly apparent was the disjointed floor service in that the service team members obviously lacked direction, training and confidence. Having a host at the entrance, doing the meet & greet and taking diners to their allocated table would make a positive difference, as would floor staff assigned with tables to look after. Food offerings were good as was the coffee. All in all it was a nice experience with room for improvement.

Thank you kimosabe for your well considered thoughts. There are a number of areas now under review as we have now completed our first year open (11th May😁) and the flow of the days becomes apparent. Staff planning and training especially with busy weekends, summer days and functions now in demand are very high on the agenda.

Sitting in the sun, with the fire going, gave the cafe a very warm and cozy feeling. I had the eggs Benedict (without the eggs) and it was absolutely delicious! The homemade hash brown was the best hash brown I’ve ever eaten and the spinach was so fresh and the butter sauce so creamy. I would totally recommend having a meal here.

This cafe is worth the drive out to Clifton and sits on the bay with extensive views over the ocean - just perfect on a sunny day. We chose sandwiches from the cabinet and milk shakes (very good), which arrived quite promptly.

The venue is popular with both motorists and cyclists - there is an excellent cycle path that runs right around the bay. Try it next time you are in the area.
