The resort is located far from restaurants but within walking distance of a shop on the north-western coast of the island. There is another deserted hotel right next the property, The rooms very spacious but a bit worn. The hotel as such is well-managed and clean and caters mainly to tourist from Asia and Russia. The pool is a bit on the small side and quickly gets crowded. The beach is nice but not really suited for swimming and the water is too shallow. On the negative side - since the hotel is located in an isolated area, it severely overcharges on food- $25 for breakfast and meals starting at approx. $50 p.P. If you stay here you will need a rental car to drive around the island. Good hotel is you want to relax for a couple of days.

Currently staying in this hotel . First of all this is no luxury hotel , more suitable for Chinese/Korean tourists. Zero service, you have to speak with the director of the hotel if you want a second towel at the pool for instance lol. Food is disgusting , I don’t know who’s the cook but everything must be frozen, and you eat while watching TV with K Pop...classy. You cannot put chairs on the beach, seems to be forbidden, the only beach hotel in the world to do that . And the beach is not swimmable.

I was recently a guest at the ARC for three days for a work trip. I didn’t have high expectations for a resort in Saipan, but I was very pleased with my experience ... from checkout through checkout, the staff was accommodating and helpful in every possible way. During my stay I had snacks at the poolside bar, worked out in the fitness center and enjoyed the all you can eat seafood buffet. The buffet was well stocked with all manner of items, including sushi and crab legs!

Overall my experience was positive. The unobstructed pacific sunsets from the shores of the resort were nothing short of breathtaking! And the rooms, grounds and pool were well attended and beautiful!

The location of the resort (well to the north of the major shopping and eating area, Garapan) make it slightly inconvenient. However ARC does a good job addressing this issue by providing a free shuttle to the DFS Galleria about a 10 min ride away. My only other critique would be the need to update the old equipment in the fitness center.
