The "resort" is old and outdated. The front desk clerk only wanted to give us one card key. The clerk seemed annoyed when we asked for two keys. And then the keys were handed to us in a piece of paper that had been stapled together. The furnishings were old, the rooms were dark and the linen was cheap. The back door in our unit (#54) had holes in it. There was an air conditioner in the bedroom but the cool air never circulated to the rest of the unit.
We would recommend RCI taking this “resort" off its list. The facility is located in a dangerous neighborhood and we were advised that it was unsafe to walk around outside after dark. This vacation was a waste of points and money. We never unpacked and ended up staying in a hotel which, of course, cost us money we had not planned to spend.
