I enjoy exploring new places but this is where i know I will be returning year after year. It is a lovely comfortable studio apartment with everything you might need down to books on the bookshelf. It is kept immaculate by Michelle and Helena. It isn't an OTT boutique place, but it is stylish with a great beach house feel. It is set in beautiful grounds complete with hummingbirds, green monkeys and mongoose. Michael the gardener is a delight and takes such a pride in his work. The garden has communal seating and eating places so if you fancy some company there is usually someone there from the neighbouring apartments, a few friendly Canadian snowbirds there for the winter months. There are lots of restaurants and bars within easy walking as well as the brand new supermarket...it sells waitrose products. The bus stop is just outside so it easy to get to Mullins or down to Bridgetown. You can hire a car but I didn't bother.
Best of all.....that beach, mere steps from the apartment. The steps down lead to the most wonderful cove and just offshore, within easy swimming reach, is a reef perfect for snorkelling. The coastal footpath will take to to Folkestone Marine Park and beyond.
Sarah the owner was a delight to deal with. All in all...I seriously think it doesn't get any better than this.
