“Best Historical Hydraulics place”

Reviewed 29 March 2018 via mobile

I traveled to Shushtar to see this historic blue mill and I was surprised to see it, and I was surprised that there were many steps that would cause problems for the elderly

Shushtar Historical Aquatic Structures A coherent mix of bridges, gangways, mills, waterfalls, canals, and water guiding tunnels that work in conjunction with each other and made during the Achaemenids to the Sassanians to make more use of water. I would suggest that you may visit it

Maybe it depends on the season but when I was there after some rains water was brown dirty and full of rubbish.
Watching from the city walls was enough and for free. Get ready to pay as always in Iran .
There is a good restaurant with a good view to the place

t was very impressing to go there! If you go downstairs to the ancient "industrial area of Shushtar, the sight gets more and more impressing. You can really hear the enormous power of the water, rushing down! The former workshops of the millers, stone millers and other working places are surprisingly well reserved, if you imagine, that this is a 2000 years old working place!
Absolutely worth going there!
