The staff @ Castello couldn’t be nicer and they all seemed so enthusiastic! There’s plenty of parking. Views across the countryside were wonderful. The tour consisted of the history of the castle and to our surprise the current owner participated in a portion of our tour. We spent considerable time in the winery, learning all the details of wine-making. (Perhaps too many details for me!). Afterwards we gathered in a large room with approximately 50 people from other groups where the guide told us about various foods and finished her presentation. Lunch was one of the best lunches I had over the 2 weeks in Italy!
