Although this hotel is in a beautiful setting, there is an ridiculous amount of things wrong with this 'business'.
I've stayed here with my Indonesian boyfriend recently.
Firstly, if you want to feel welcomed and appreciated, the staff are lovely however you won't get this kind of treatment by security... the security guard is always SLEEPING on the job! Although maybe not contracted by the hotel, this is still completely absurd. He is security for a reason.
The fire exit is constantly LOCKED - yes, really. Need I say more?

The manager 'Stefanos' speaks to people disgracefully and with no respect whatsoever. Unfortunately, I experienced this myself and the way he spoke to his staff and customers. People do not pay this money to get treated the way this man thinks is 'ok'.

I'm not one for leaving bad reviews on anything at all. I would normally voice my concerns if relevant at the time and place, however I feel very strongly about this case and this does not give me any faith in humanity. I am disgusted and I hope something is done about this and I most certainly hope this reaches 'Stefanos'.

The place is quite and beautiful. The food is good. When we were there, the fog was sorrounding he hotel and it was beautiful. The place is a quite far from the main road but it is enough make a place for rest from the horrible traffic. The down side is there is no swimming pool. But I don't regret that we stay at this hotel.

i like this hotel so much. the room is big and comfy. hot water is good, and i get the room with good view. overall its a good experience with minor bad things like

location
the access to this place is a little bit hard if you drive by car. small street with only one lane for car. so two cars cannot pass in the same moment

no swimming pool
i think there will be a plus if casa monte rosa has a small swimming pool for kids.

i get the promo price for just about idr 400.000 (USD 15). so with all this facilities, its definetly worth the price
