“Beautiful venue, amazing location, impressive facilities.”
Reviewed 12 August 2019 for a stay in July 2019

We booked The Hayloft and its next door neighbours The Cowshed and The Old farmhouse for a family reunion weekend. It was fabulous. The owners have thought of everything, from the choice of pillows on each luxurious bed to the new-laid eggs in the welcome basket. We were impressed with the high quality and tasteful presentation of everything, if only my own kitchen was as clean, well equipped and stylish as this one! The children loved the well equipped games room, and in the evening they played Uno while the rest of us chatted round the fire.

The views across the Peak District are spectacular; there are walks and cycle paths on the doorstep, rock climbing a short drive away and enough pretty villages, tea shops and historic sites to keep you busy for weeks.

“A fantastic accommodation for groups”
Reviewed 22 July 2019 for a stay in July 2019

This new holiday rental is a real find, very luxurious and beautifully presented. We rented the Hayloft alongside the other places available here, and the Hayloft was fantastic, and has everything you could wish for. My family and friends were so very impressed with this place, they absolutely loved it. The place was especially convenient for a large group, as it provided very well set-up kitchens and common rooms in which we could have meals together and just relax. In winter the log burners must be amazing. The owners were incredibly helpful and made sure that our stay was as enjoyable as possible, and provided barbecues and a games room full of things to do for the children - from board games to a table tennis table and even a pool table! The views from this location are to die for, and there is even a site of historic interest only a short walk away. It is perfectly situated for access to Bakewell and the Peak District, and for walks to the nearby Monsal Trail. We had a great time and would love to return in the future!!

“Peak District Retreat”
Reviewed 20 June 2019 for a stay in June 2019

Fantastic stop over at the newly redeveloped Manor House Farm (Hayloft). Brilliant finishing touches to the interior, large kitchen island with ample seating and communal space. All beds capable of zip linking as singles or doubles. 3 spacious bathrooms. Amazing scenery and very helpful host. Great walk nearby to Monsal Head.

“Beautifully decorated, wonderful location and friendly hosts.”
Reviewed 12 June 2019 for a stay in May 2019

Beautiful setting in the countryside surrounded by fields and trees. Quiet and peaceful. The bards are stunning and decorated to a high standard. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking in and there was a traditional country pub down the road.

“Beautiful property, beautiful location”
Reviewed 13 May 2019 for a stay in May 2019

Stayed for two nights with a group of friends. The property and its surroundings are beautifully finished and spec’d out with everything you could need. The kitchen/living space is fantastic for socialising with a large group and the bedrooms are all really well proportioned. Friendly hosts, walks from the doorstep, a proper local pub just 5 minutes walk away and spectacular views north and south. Highly recommended.
