As a regular user of Travelodge, this outlet just misses out on five bubbles based on the location and the facilities I am looking for so they may not be for everyone
The photos on the Travelodge website are a fair representation of the Family Room I usually receive (this is my tenth visit to this location)

On arrival (checkin at 15:00) the free car park looks nearly full, but the car park near the entrance is smaller and a larger car park extends on the other side of the building
Access to the entrance was easy and obvious, although there are no clear signs for access during the night
Checkin is usually easy by just giving your Surname and receiving your room key within a few minutes

There are two floors and it makes little difference as to the room location
The majority of the rooms face on to the Car Park, or the main road
There is very little noise between 19:00 and 08:00, and the nearby road is some distance so there is no background noise from passing traffic

The room itself is to usual Travelodge standards
As usual for a Travelodge, the kettle, two cups, tea and coffee were present (and as usual if you need more just ask at reception, but on this occasion I did not need to)

The bathroom was fully functional, with one small and one large towel with one large towel spare

I do not use the (30 minutes) free WiFi
There is an option for Breakfast Box

There are no restaurants within walking distance (the adjoining restaurant closed some time ago)
There is an ASDA Superstore 15 minutes away, part of a Shopping Centre, but it is easier to drive to and from

Of the four Travelodge in Aberdeen this is my second choice, as the location is quieter during the day
However, you really need transport to use this location, from arrival and moving around Aberdeen and the local area

The hotel was clean, the staff extremely friendly, the room was spacious and had a very comfortable bed and everything in the room worked. The bathroom was clean and the shower had lots of hot water. Overall a nice stay.

We stayed at this hotel one night as we should fly from the airport the next morning. It’s not very easy to find the hotel and you must have a car. But the hotel is very nice, they don’t serve breakfast though. There is an ASDA 10 minutes walk away and an Indian restaurant nearby.
