My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary in late August and we had the most lovely relaxing experience! Kevin and Debra are excellent hosts who are eager to share their property with you. We loved hearing their stories about how they first developed wingcreek and you can feel the love they have poured into it.

Our cabin was adorably quaint with grape vines dangling from the roof and peach trees growing nearby. Due to the smoke from the fires we were unable to see the magestic views from our porch but it didn’t matter because we were so happy with the romantic vibe of the property.

There is a fun winding walk down to the beach that is definitely worth the trip. The beach is made of river stones which are great for skipping into the water.

The community of Kalso is also really awesome, with several great restaurants worth checking out. And if you’re into craft beer, there is a great new brewing company called the Angry Hen that is excellent.

Thanks again to Kevin and Debra! We love Wing Creek!

Beautiful, clean comfortable cabin with a wonderful lake view. Quiet, private and secluded. No kids or dogs . Perfect couples retreat. Only 5 minutes to Kaslo, a really cool small town on the lake. Owners were very friendly and accommodating when we needed something, and gave us our privacy.
Cabin was well equipped and perfect for two. Cabin had raspberries and grapes and apples and peaches growing around it and they were excellent.
Beautiful well maintained landscaping. On-site orchard to explore and pick fruit. Private beach on the property down a well maintained trail. It was the highlight of our Canada vacation.

We just returned from a few days at Wing Creek Resort - this truly is a hidden gem. The views from our cabin are breathtaking. Lots to do and see - if you prefer a quite time for chillin, reading, yoga or a massage is an option owners Debra & Kevin offer as well. If you truly want a peaceful getaway visit the Wing Creek Resort. We definitely will be back!!❤

We cannot say enough good things about Wing Creek Resort. We stayed 5 nights in July, 2018. Beautiful property, stunning views, incredibly peaceful surroundings, cozy cottages, and amazing hospitality. If you want a quiet, relaxing vacation away from all the busyness and stresses of life, this is *THE* place to stay.

Our private, cozy cottage was nestled in nature, where I could just read a book on our porch and be visited by butterflies, robins, hummingbirds, and even a family of deer (and NO mosquitos! At least when we were there), all while taking in breathtaking views and the calming sound of the rushing creek.

The property has many fruit trees throughout, an orchard, and a lovely winding walk down to a private beach. Note: Walking back up to the cottages provides quite the exercise for out-of-shape folks! There are 4 "Cedarbrook" cottages (numbered as #2 to #5). They are quite small, and are the perfect balance of rustic and luxurious: beautiful wood construction, a wood-burning fireplace, and no TV/internet (this is a good thing!), while still having a fully-equipped kitchen, drinks & snacks, crystal-clear & clean water, electric heat if needed, bath/shower & plumbing, and comfy bed. If you want a little more space, there is the slightly larger "Cedarcrest" cottage (#6), which also has some extra amenities, including a TV and your own BBQ.

We enjoyed the Retreat Centre, where we chose to eat our amazing continental breakfast out on the balcony, and being musicians, played & sang some music (thanks to the keyboard and guitar inside). You can also do yoga, play board games, and access free wi-fi.

I haven't even gotten to the best part: the owners, Debra & Kevin. They manage and take care of the whole place themselves, and are among the nicest and friendliest people we've met. You can tell they really, actually care about this place and about providing you the best possible experience. They went above & beyond with many personalized acts of kindness & hospitality. They were such a joy to chat with and we pretty much just wanted to move in with them :)

Wing Creek is only a 5 minute drive from the quaint village of Kaslo, which we loved exploring. There is so much history in Kaslo (which you can tell the people value), lots of great little shops & restaurants, a thriving arts & music scene, watersport opportunities on the pristine Kootenay Lake, and much more. It's also just an hour from Nelson, another fun place to visit.

We think that Wing Creek Resort is the perfect place for any person or couple to relax, unwind, disconnect from technology, connect with nature, and re-connect with each other. We enjoyed our stay so much; Wing Creek will be on our minds often, and we will definitely be back! Debra & Kevin, thank you again for providing us with the perfect relaxing vacation we needed.

Stayed for 4 nights late July 2017. Wing Creek is a fantastic relaxing getaway to unwind with super friendly owners. The cabin was spotless with amazing views across the valley and the pebble beach is well worth the short downhill walk through the forest path. Look forward to returning soon.....
