Conveniently nestled alongside the N2 en route to Cape Town / PE

Excellent coffee and decadent treats. Some would think it expensive but you pay for quality. Friendly staff at a very clean shop. Well worth the stop.

We ordered croissants with scrambled eggs and bacon and coffee.
The coffee was good. The croissants were so bitter from heated rocket.
We could not eat it and left half behind
I wont go there again
We found prices expensive

We stopped for toasted sandwiches, and I ordered the ham, cheese and tomato, but without the ham. The bread was barely toasted, and the slices of sourdough bread very thick (too thick to put the sandwich in your mouth!) The cheese hadn't even melted inside, and I didn't get extra cheese in the place of the ham. The chicken mayo was also not toasted, had thick slices of chicken, some lettuce but no mayonnaise!
Disappointing. But the cakes looked tempting. Staff were unpacking boxes of Montagu nuts and dried fruit, and emptying the bags into wooden containers…..

Die Ou Meul has a wonderful view, through a glass wall at the end of the room, of the Langeberg and that quirky rock formation named `Sleeping Beauty'. We brunched on a tasty burger (hold the barbecue sauce!) for me and poached eggs and bacon with trimmings for him. Prices were pleasing and service was good. The entrance to the restaurant offers breads and confectionery as well as a range of homemade products. A shop downstairs is a treasure trove of old and new, with more kitchen treats on offer.

Disinterested owner, incorrect WiFi password, missing ingredients for the dish I ordered. C’mon Oumeul I know you can do better! There’s blue cheese in the deli downstairs and if anyone cared you could’ve gone down 1 flight of stairs to get it! Don’t just rely on your brand. Way overpriced too BTW.
