It's a shipwreck, on an inaccessible beach, surrounded by white cliffs and blue water. That is it.... dare I say..a tad underwhelming. Also the cove was crowded with boats... Instagram dream maybe..but distinctly average. No wow moment here.

Unique place! Best time to visit September! There are no so much people there on September, the water is a little bit cold, and you can stay only one hour!

"The photo" from high above this location is the advertisement of the island. The height with deep below the clear blue sea with a rusted shipwreck on the beach appeals to the imagination. The bay had been closed off to boats by the Coast Guard, probably due to the huge crowds of private boats and commercial day trips.
The viewpoint above is one of patience. You stand in a long line, then have a protrusion that you can stand on, then stick your turtle neck far out for this well-known picture. And then through given the huge line of people behind you who also want to see this. This part of the island is green and fun to drive through.

Don't get over excited about this place, just s rusty old ship on a nice beach. You would have thought someone would have cleaned it up by now. You can't land on the beach incase a rock falls and kills you. The sea was amazing blue but again alot of people there to spoil the view. If you in to old rusty ships we have loads on the salt side at Lowestoft. Come visit us. ( sea a bit s**t brown colour to be fair )
