I went to this beautiful beach as part of a boat trip. Luckily there were only 2 boats when we arrived! The water was crystal clear but cold. I can imagine it might get very crowded when there are lots of boats. I could not believe that there were people drawing on the shipwreck and climbing on it! The captain on our boat had told the passengers on our boat not to touch the shipwreck as there was a fine!
A lovely place and worth a visit!

This is my third visit to the shipwreck and every time is gets better.
Yes the beach is a bugger on the feet and can very busy but it is well worth it just for one picture of the stunning crystal clear waters around the beach! The cliffs and the clear blue waters are truly breath taking.

The photos you see of this place always look photo-shopped but they are not!! - you have to see it to believe it - the blue is such an incredible turquoise blue. Absolutely stunning.
You can drive to the viewpoint overlooking Navagio beach but impossible to walk down to it. The only way to actually get into the beach is to take a boat trip there.

We hired a boat to sail from alykes to navagio beach to see the famous shipwreck. Brilliant trip there and from a distance the beach looks impressive however when getting closer it resembled London in rush hour. Huge boats coming from everywhere and dispensing hundreds of passengers....horrible. Much better to view from the cliffs above. Also unless you have very thick hard skin on your feet the sharp builders sand on the beach will hurt....sea shoes a must unless you want free foot surgery....ouch.
Very disappointing 😕

Hired a boat for the day and went here. It was panoramic views and really does have the wow factor. Also the blue caves and lovely quite little beaches to stop at. Great day.
