It is obvious, we love this club, the mountains, the slopes, the Italian ski school, the accommodation, the food etc...what made the difference this year compared to the previous years, is the people. And I speak mainly about Michele, the chef de village. He is everywhere from morning till late night (does he ever have a moment for himself??), making sure people are happy and everything runs smoothly and is well organised. (Some obvious improvements: kids corner at the bar, free parking, tea bags at discretion, music on the slopes, at the top of the gondola, punctual departures - kids had to wait much less to depart, better wifi, less waiting time at the food stations). Due to the recent outspread of Corona virus in Italy, people were a bit concerned. Michele was always there providing info and reassuring people. Everything was under control and extra hygiene measures were taken. Sanitizers everywhere! Adults and kids were surprisingly educated and used them frequently. I can only say Grazie Michele to you and your efficient team. I would also like to thank my ski monitor Fabrizio, for making it another great ski week for us. We went from very warm days with melting snow to freezing storms, but he was always there helping us adapt to the snow and weather, correcting us and giving us confidence. Thank you! I dream already about a 5th return! :) :)

My wife and I spent the Feb last week and we had a wonderful and very pleasant stay. Not only we had great time on the slopes but also in the ClubMed thanks to the very warm and welcome GO team. We would like to leave a special thanks to Gianfranco (always smiling and speaking portuguese with us) and to Gerrard Jayme our Sci Maestro that showed a lot of sympathy and patience with us (and speaking portuguese too!). Just on the less positive side we would mention the inside entertainment area of ClubMed a little bit too crowded with lower roof - could be a bit better. Also despite the nice and spacious room, it would be good to have a better cleaning before arrival/during stay. Once again it was a wonderful week! And great food too!!!

Just back from a week of skiing with my 2 children and parents. We all had a fantastic time. The village is beautiful, the chalets are cosy and the ski slopes really charming with lots of pine trees. How practical to have a ski lift right in the club med village !
The village was lead by a very sympathetic chef de village Michele, always there smiling and having a kind word ! The Spa team was great ! A special thanks to Salome for a fantastic massage, as well to Federica R and to Ludovica. All had magical hands and smiling faces.
Last but not least a very special thanks to Manon from the planning, to Sabino, to Michael Angelo (great Campari Spritz ;-)) and to Claudia from the ski room that all made our week memorable ! This GO team really made a difference and made our week memorable. Thank you and we will be back !

We stayed with the family for a week in this beautiful resort. The club is lead by a charismatic chef de village, Michele, who is literally everywhere to cheer up your stay. From breakfast to comedy night he is always present in a helpful way. We loved the food, with a great variety of elaborated dishes, great bread in the morning, and very kind waiters. Special thanks to Salvatore and Carlo. Also very helpful service from the sommelier in charge (Luanna?). Great village I would recommend to everyone.

Let me start with the positive - location is great, picturesque, mountains and slops are fantastic, especially with fresh snow around, which we didn't have. With this Global Warming, stay closer to Dec-Jan booking. We've had spring conditions skiing in mid Feb.
Now the negative - it's an ex-Olympic village run w/o much care/investment since. VERY small rooms, broken appliances, showers, toilets... Team is severely logistically challenged and perhaps doesn't know what it takes to take care of guests expecting nothing but reasonable 4-star service done promptly. They run it as a 2-3 start motel, where you had to ask for critical things like fixing shower and toiled for TWO DAYS and nothing gets fixed until you yell and scream at them. The "free" sauna. Boy... it hasn't been properly maintained for 10+ years. Looks horrible and very small. Thermostat is tortured and broken. The "for fee" area is for up to 10 guests with probably 200-300 guests total. NO WAY to get there, while they try to sell you a 5-visit pass on a discount. That area is nice but nothing luxurious (if you're lucky one to get in given the limitation). Food was "B-" in the main cafeteria and "F" = REALLY BAD in their special pre-booking restaurants.
Overall disappointed by logistically challenged staff, bad food quality of restaurants, inadequately small wellness facilities and run-down overall infrastructure.
From business perspective it's understood it's a "cash cow", but without hay even cash cows die...
