This was a real pleasure. The boat, Vista II, took us along the Abel Tasman coastline pointing out features of interest and dropped us off an hour later at Medlands Beach from where we trekked along the coastal hills through Torrent Bay to Anchorage Bay where we were collected by Vista and returned to Kaiteriteri via another pick up.
The crew were helpful and very happy to chat. The skipper gave us a running comentary both ways.
The trek was absolutely stunning with amazing views (but plenty of ascents and descents, especially between Medlands Beach and Torrent Bay.
Highly recommend.

Great trip. Great location. Great guides. Great lodges.
Guiding a group of 25 people with very different fitness levels, phyiscal abilities, and comfort expectations is not easy. Erwin, Paddy and Hope did a very good job finding the right balance for everyone (of course it is not possible to please all people all the time),
We had a great time and would highly recommend Wilsons and the Abel Tasman National Park.

The guided 5 day walk/ kayak is a fantastic way to explore the Able Tasman National Park. The Wilsons' people organise everything from beginning to end, so all you need is to be ready at the set pick up point. The guides are very friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. The accommodation at the 2 lodges is great - spacious living areas and comfortable rooms. The food is delicious, with amazing home cooked meals. The walk and kayaking give you spectacular views of a beautiful area. It is worth taking the 5 days to do the trek as the lay days let you learn more about the local areas and enjoy some R&R with beautiful views all around you. Thanks to everyone at Wilsons

This trip through Abel Tasman starting at Kaiteriteri was amazing. Our kayak guide Loren was well organized, knowledgeable, and extremely kind and helpful - and the scenery couldn’t be more beautiful. Highly recommend

What a fantastic experience! From the kayaking, to the hike, to the swimming.

The beaches were beautiful, the scenery was mind blowing and our guide, Lauren was excellent.

It was astounding to see the Seals in their natural habitat, swim in the clear blue ocean and take in such beauty.

Wilson were helpful, easy to deal with and great value for money. What an amazing day that won't ever be forgotten.

On the first day we took the option for a cruise on a Vista catamaran along the entire length of the ATNP, a bit like an open-top bus tour on water!! Prompt timing and with a good loudspeaker commentary covering the history of the various bays and beaches

On the second day we took advantage of the facility to drop-in at a chosen bay (in our case Medlands) and be picked-up several hours later - all quite methodical, booked and checked for completeness.

All told a very agreeable, zero hassle, flexible experience with pleasant staff!
