Yesterday I visited Corte Lombarda once again with some business friends and enjoyed the whole evening from arriving to leaving.
Food was delicious, service attentive and friendly and the scenery inside unique.
When we approached the restaurant in a former kind of town castle setting I once again was wondering how a stranger would find and recognize the restaurant inside this old place. You park your car inside the courtyard and then you enter a typical old mansion with staircase and chimney in a well decorated room and nicely decorated tables.
You are taken care of immediately and cared of the whole day very attentive and at the same time providing privacy and relaxation.
The menu is giving you a variety of dishes with fish, meat, vegetarian, pastas and risottos.
We had a shrimp risotto as starter which we shared. Simply delicious.
Then we chose different fish/seafood dishes as main course. My crab was a dream.
We had a relaxing conversation with a fitting Italian wine (Sassella 2013).
We left refreshed well fed and happy.
Like to come back.
As it’s close to Milan and Malpensa airport I recommend you stop by.
