The GM is so rude!! We used to love this resort but now there are residents who dont like children and exceptionally horrid and arrogant staff who came across very rude. When we raised a concern we were spoken to inconsiderately and aggressively by the Bruno the GM who was more focused on defending his team than correcting any issues. We found a number of problems and I would advise going elsewhere. One star too much for this resort!

It is regretful that your comments do not correspond with the actual events that occurred.
Instead of having a rational conversation with us, you thought it was reasonable to speak to myself, and our staff, without a modicum of respect or good manners.
The focus of the Estrela da Luz team is in providing the best possible experience to whomever is visiting the resort, residents, guests, owners, family members of owners etc.
Your post is neither constructive nor particularly truthful, especially when you consider that you were staying in a family members property at the time of your stay.
Despite this we strongly believe that Estrela has much to offer, and our ratings speak for themselves.
Location is great, complex a bit outdated and poor. our apartment was full of ants, we complained twice but they did nothing about it. cleaning was also very bad. for the rest fine complex.
Location is great facilities are great the problem they have is the management and pool supervisor have no manners and seem to have no concept of how a holiday with your children should be.How can you stop kids wanting to jump in a pool I can understand diving but jumping no. One in particular seemed to single us out which ruined what should of been a great family holiday no splashing no smiling no laughing allowed at this place we was not alone in this a lot of families where not happy and the mood around the pool was not good.
fabulous find! We stayed 8 nights in a duplex apartment and it was fabulous. Clean, spacious apartment, comfortable beds, nice fittings, well equiped kitchen, lovely pools and breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Lovely holiday and location was great - 5-10 minutes walk to the beach. Staff great and resort is spottlessy clean.
Brilliant property with amazing facilities. Location perfect with restaurants and beaches close by. Staff were polite. Rooms were very spacious had 1 bed apartment best ever had. Will definitely be back.
