I don't know whether I would have found this place without the help of a friend who knows the region. It is beautifully situated on top of a hill, in a remote village. The daughter runs the place, la mama is in the kitchen and il papa takes care of the beehives, picks mushrooms for the evening dinner, and tends to fresh produce. The decor is cozy and tasteful. Candlelight guides to the entrance. You eat what la mama puts on the table : antipasti, primi, secondi, dessert, cheese, coffee, water, wine. We had far too much to eat, but it was far too delicious to remain reasonable. The service was accomodating, friendly... like visiting friends. Don't forget to take a pot of honey back home. It can't get more authentic. P.S. give them a ring to book a table.
