This is a perfect place to stay along the Lewis Pass. The rooms are clean and tidy. There is a kitchen area so you can prepare your own meals. There is also a laundry area. The location is very accessible to DOC walks and not too far from Reefton. The rooms are set well back on the road so there is no traffic noise.
We stayed for two nights but would have enjoyed longer. Just sitting on the balcony and watching the weather is a peaceful way to spend some time.
The hosts were very helpful. After staying here we went on an overnight hike. This motel was a perfect location to prepare.

Excellent, well stocked and clean motel rooms in a beautiful location.

We arrived on a rainy morning earlier than normal but were allowed to check in and make ourselves comfortable on a bleak, cold day.

Everything needed for self catering, but bring supplies as there are not many shops nearby.

A couple of Freddo frogs, fresh milk and filtered coffee is a nice touch.
Cosy, clean, warm and spacious rooms make for a wonderful stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lewis Pass Motels. It was very good value, all the rooms have relaxing views over the farm and out to the mountians. Good self catering facilities in room and also laundry available.
Close to tramping in Lewis Pass Scenic Reserve - Lake Daniells was a great walk
