Excellent, professional and super safe operators! This was an awesome full day out mixing it up from beach and bush walks to zip lining and crazy slides! Lunch, snacks and hot drinks too! The equipment provided and the photos taken by the team ensure you can leave most of your gear at home! Full support and instruction given during all aspects of the trip with levels to suit all levels of madness! Thanks again Pete, Juri and Awatea!

I highly recommend Abel Tasman Canyons for anyone traveling through the Abel Tasman area. Our guides Mitch and Pete had super fun and supportive attitudes while also keeping safety a top priority. The photos and videos that come with the tour are great quality. Food and snacks are provided along the way. Really accommodating for first timers like myself as well as people who have been canyoning before. Seriously blown away by the whole experience!! Thanks again!

My girlfriend and I did the Blue Creek Canyon trip with our guides Riki and Juri at Abel Tasman Canyons and couldn’t be happier with the experience. We drove from Motueka to the Kahurangi National park and then headed on foot along a spectacular wilderness trail. Riki and Juri pointed out plants, insect, and birds along the way adding to the wilderness feel of the trip. At times we felt like original explorers!
Once up on the ridge we were soon dropping into the start of the canyon. Wow! A carved sandstone wonderland awaited us. After a tasty lunch we suited up into wetsuits and harnesses and were ready for our first drop. Riki and Juri were always patient and safety minded at all times. The fist abseil was a first for my girlfriend and she mastered it quickly. From there on each descent had its own unique challenge, and as we dropped ever deeper, the more amazing was the scenery. Moss covered walls bathed in shadows and sunlight turned the canyon into a magical wonderland.
Riki and Juri worked as a team at all times and we were always moving with seamless precision. If you want a true New Zealand experience up close and have a sense of adventure, then this trip is for you!

Wow cheers Charles for this AWESOME review of your day in Blue Creek Canyon. This is a canyon we don't do often so Riki and Juri were just as excited as you both to get in there and have an adventure! :)

We thoroughly enjoyed this excursion. The activities weren’t too hard or scary and the experienced guides take you through each step. They have the perfect balance between safety and fun. The landscape of the canyon is unreal and you won’t see it anywhere else or any other way in the national park. You start with a walk/hike to the canyon (about 1 - 1.5 hrs; March was perfect weather but mid summer would have been really hot for this part) and then there are about five or so major descents you do. We felt it was great value for the money - a full day, lunch and sea taxi included, and the best part was that they take lots of pictures and send them to you after without charging extra! You don’t see that too often. Things I would caution on are very slippery rocks so be extra careful and wear shoes with a good grip if you can. Also make sure to listen to the guides and do exactly what they say (we had some bad listeners in our group of 12 people - nobody got hurt or anything but following instructions is what keeps you safe). Shoutouts to Oscar and Pete for their hilarious banter, cookie baking and van driving skills, and of course for keeping us safe and making the day fun. (And for talking me through the six metre jump haha.) Highly recommend this trip! You won’t regret it.

Wow cheers LorraineyC for this AMAZING review and full rundown of your day out with Pete and Oscar. Have they been telling everyone that they've been up all night baking cookies?!! (haha, those rascals). We are so happy you thoroughly enjoyed your adventure canyoning and really appreciate you taking the time to leave this review! Cheers!!
