Fabulous room with loads of space and comfortable bed. Lovely and clean and the hosts were very friendly. The biscuits and chocolates in the room were a special touch. Motel is an easy walk to the shops and restaurants. Kitchen is well set up and the sitting area of our room was very relaxing.

For many many years the Avalon has been our motel of choice for our regular trips to Motueka - The location is almost in town, the rooms always clean and tidy, and the owners lovely to deal with - thoroughly recommend them

An excellent motel in close walking distance to town. Motel is very well equipped, modern and clean. Good parking and good value for money. Traffic can be noisy but only at “rush” hour. Thoroughly recommended.

Good clean motel. We weren’t able to arrive until just after 9pm - no drama. Comfortable bed, great central location, good spacious room. Very close to town centre but quiet, and handy for marina. Good car parking - plenty of space.
