“Stunning house with panoramic views of Carlingford Lough!”
Reviewed 8 July 2014 for a stay in July 2014

Dolly's is a real gem! We had a wonderful few days re-exploring Warrenpoint and the surrounding areas. Unfortunately, the owner was on holiday (next time Maura), but Aideen (a neighbour) met us and kindly showed us around.

The house is ideally located facing Carlingford lough, which is stunning on a clear day. The house is spotless, and has a well equipped kitchen opening to a beautiful sun trapped private back courtyard and garden with herbs, lettuces, berries, etc that are reminiscent of a château in the south of France. The bedrooms are beautifully set-up with very comfortable beds and furniture that complements the period heritage of the house. Two large bathrooms with excellent showers, and an open living/dinning room make it ideal for larger groups and entertaining.

We enjoyed walks in nearby Kilbroney park, climbing Cloughmore, and nearly ventured in for a swim because on hot days it looked that inviting! We'd recommend the Whistledown hotel and Balmoral hotel (Restaurant 23) for excellent food and friendly service - both a 5 minute walk from the house. Other dining options are available in the town (e.g., Fusion, Bennetts seafood). The kids loved Warrenpoint park, and ice-cream in the Genoa cafe (they also do great fish and chips!). Overall, a memorable trip, largely attributable to Dolly's!

“Immaculate, well equipped with a friendly welcome!”
Reviewed 7 July 2014 for a stay in June 2014

This is the best holiday rental of the entire trip. The rooms were comfortable and immaculately clean. I stayed with my 3 sisters and their spouses, plenty of room for everyone. One of my sisters has a habit of cleaning on arrival, but none necessary here. It was immaculately clean. We were greeted by the owner who was so accommodating! She allowed access to her veggie garden which we loved! The view is spectacular and the back garden with sitting area is quaint and quiet. Pubs and restaurants in close proximity. Highly recommend this holiday rental.

We stayed in Dollly's cottage with our children and my father and step-mother, a fabulous place to base ourselves while visiting family. A beautifully presented, clean property and although completely refurbished has amazing character. The views are stunning, whatever the weather and lovely places to eat and socialise, just a short walk away. Maura (the owner) was lovely and really helpful, we will definitely be staying here again. Highly recommend.

“5 star luxury!”
Reviewed 22 February 2014 for a stay in February 2014

14th Feb 2014 to 20th Feb 2014. A very warm welcome with lots of personal touches. The web site does not do this place justice. Immaculate with everything you would need for your stay. Excellent Wi Fi. Close to all amenities and opposite the sea. When we left the people were also very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back!!
