My grandson went on a ski trip and stayed at this hotel. The beds were adequate but the food was terrible - he had a lot of abdominal upsets. He left his wallet one day, zipped into his toilet bag in the bathroom, but it was taken. It turned up a few days later on the table in his bedroom however the 10 euros left inside was gone. He hopes to take another ski trip next year but not if he has to stay at this hotel.

If your nephew has lost 10 euro maybe it's better that he asks his roommates ..... the food is normal Italian food, pasta, lasagna and meat of good quality, if it was not bad for hotel food

If you set your expectations right for a two-star hotel, this one will fit the bill. Rooms are good-sized, though, and open up nicely once you open the window and raise the blinds.

My complaints: there were cobwebs here and there. The towels were more like altar cloth linens you would find at church (but extremely well-pressed and clean). The shower is extremely low and water pressure is lower on the upper floors.

Bonuses: There was an in-room refrigerator! And there was an extra pillow and blankets in the large cabinet.

Room tip: Rooms on the lower floors have better water pressure.

About half-way from Lyon to Parma via the Petit St Bernard pass, not far into Italy. We were a bit concerned that there were almost no places to eat in Nus according to my internet research but the hotel put on a very good evening meal. There is an outside pool which looked inviting but I hate swimming. I recommend this as a friendly family hotel. The hotel did not look much like the photos on the internet (obviously there was no snow in June) but this is not a criticism, just a comment.
