The farm is beautiful and on a clear day you can see Snowdonia Mountain range (made extra special for us because it snowed!) The tents are spacious and the bed was comfy. Andrea supplied everything we could have needed from hot water bottles to pots, pans and cutlery and milk and eggs! We had access to an oven, kettle and sink and a dining space. We loved the bottle of processo on arrival made even more special by Andrea placing balloons in our tent for my boyfriends birthday. Enjoyed a glass of two in the lovely jacuzzi bath! It was an excellent location in terms of climbing snowdon with a short drive to bottom of the easy trail up. The only thing if anything that would have been nice was to have fairy lights on our tent as seen in the pictures. Every other tent had them and I was looking forward to the magic of them. Thanks for a great stay! Harriet and stafford
Me and my partner booked to stay here for a birthday weekend away and we was looking forward to experiencing glamping for the first time together and the area looked beautiful.
On arrival there was nobody around so we rang Andrea to ask which tent we was meant to be in, she said she'd be out to show us, but it was actually a man came out instead, I'm assuming he was andrea's husband, but he didn't say his name or seem pleased to meet us, he just pointed at our tent and that was a bout it. Information about location etc.. was provided in booklets in tent but would of been nice to of had a quick show around where everything was instead of us having to guess. And throughout our stay we didn't see Andrea or any other owners once and they didn't bother to come up to check on us or to chat to us to see how our stay was during our weekend there which isn't the most welcoming feel for £90 a night.
The tent was provided with everything we needed but was rather basic. Wifi didn't work in the tent, most of the fairy lights had stopped working and the torch provided wasn't very powerful at all. Shower facilities were great, nice warm water and modern lay out but no hooks to hang clothes. And unfortunately no clean towels were given to us for our second night stay which made it quite uncomfortable to use your wet towel from the day before.
For me, it wasn't a bad experience, but for the amount charged, I was expecting more of a warming, welcoming feel from Andrea, as seen in other reviews. And I was hoping for a bit more luxury as it felt quite basic. Wouldn't return in a hurry, and I feel there's a lot more extras you could throw in to make every visit a bit more worth the price you're charging.
Perfect break away. Andrea provides everything needed to camp & glamp. Peaceful & cosy, easy to get to many locations. Bring bed socks and food!
First glamping experience with three children 8 - 14 years old. Bell tent beautifully equipped with comfy bed, crisp white cotton bed line, touch of glamour with faux fur throws and rugs! Picnic basket with tea, coffee etc; plenty of wood for wood burner and outdoor camp fire. Shower/washing unit clean and well stocked with soap, shampoo etc... loved the lights that came on around the mirror!! Communal washing up area had useful supplies of ketchup for fish and chips delivered by local chippy... delicious! Owners couldn't have made us feel more welcome or willing to help us with anything we needed.
