So happy you liked staying there, you will be welcome back anytime
House is beautifully decorated and offers flexible accommodation for up to 10 people. Great for both family trips and weekends with friends. Loads to do near by. A great wee retreat!
Many thanks for such a lovely review, welcome back anytime!
This was probably the best holiday house we have stayed in. It was very clean, comfortable and far more luxurious than most. We loved the large open plan lounge kitchen dining area which was great for socialising and relaxing. The private sunny garden was perfect for sun bathing and dining. Everything was clearly very well maintained and the decor was fresh and bright. The location suited us very well being only a short, stroll to the local shops and good bus links to all of the East Neuk. For a wider choice of restaurants and shops St Andrews is not far. A lovely house in a very pretty village suitable for all ages. Highly recommend.
Thank you so much for reviewing Driftwood and you would be welcome back anytime.
Had a wonderful 3 days in Driftwood Cottage with my husband, 3 kids and my friends who also have 3 kids. A spacious property, beautifully decorated with a fabulous garden, perfect for 6 boys!
We spent 3 fabulous days exploring the East Neuk of Fife including St Monans Cave, a walk along the coast to Anstruther, Elie Beach, St Andrews and the Secret Bunker. Even though the weather was cold and windy, there was plenty to do and see and lots to keep the kids occupied.
I would definitely recommend Driftwood Cottage for a great family holiday. We will definitely go back before the summer is out!
Many thanks for a lovely review, we would love to have you back again
Just back from our second visit to this lovely house. As we had enjoyed our first visit in October 2014 we were looking forward to getting back and it didn't disappoint. The house is very welcoming spacious and homely with fantastic outside space which we were able to enjoy. The house is well positioned to enjoy everything the East Neuk has to offer and has everything you need for a great holiday. We especially loved the living space which is open plan so is great for gathering round the table for a well earned meal after a long coastal walk while the for wood burning stove roars in the background.
Many thanks for a great review of Driftwood, you would be welcome back which I hope you will do in the future.
I stayed at Driftwood Cottage last week, with my family and friends. We had a wonderful time. The house was clean, spacious with lots of character. In particular we loved the wood burning stove, and the homely feel about the place. The weather was great, so we sat out in the secluded back garden, sipped cold white wine and had a barbecue.
We walked to Crail, Elie, St Monans and Anstruther, as well as having a fabulous meal at Forgans in St Andrews. Where we would return to Driftwood, light up the stove and talk about the adventures of the day.
We also bought lovely antiques from the pop up shop on the shore and some beautiful dressed crabs from the Fishermans Larder.
All in all a memorable week! I would thoroughly recommend Driftwood, to anyone who wants a taste of Fife's East Neuk.
We thank you very much for such a wonderful review and would hope you will come visit us again, you will be very welcome, you left the house in immaculate condition. Thank you again.
