Spent a great week here. It is very cosy and comfortable, clean and well equipped with everything you need. Carol and Simon are excellent hosts. The Granary is located on a working farm and it was so nice to watch the cows wandering past our door after being milked. The grounds are beautiful, we were able to do several lovely walks without get into the car. Lots of nature. It is a 20 minute walk across the fields into town. Will definitely return next year.
We stayed for just three nights over the Easter break. We were welcomed by Carol with tea and cake (watch out, Mary Berry, Carol's cake is seriously good).
On the outskirts of Ross, just off the A40, The Granary is really comfortable and well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a short break.
There's a lot to do and see locally: Ross on Wye itself has all the amenities you would expect from a market town, Symonds Yat, and pretty Ledbury are each a short distance away, and Hereford, with its cathedral containing the Mappa Mundi and Chained Library, only a little further.
Our short break was really restful, and we're sure to return before long.
