Thoroughly recommend Falls Retreat and their Feast menu. We stopped by for lunch and it was just great. As part of our selection we chose the vegetarian option of the Summer Provenance. It was by far the best vegetarian main we have had in a long time. Tasty and fresh. Beautiful for a summer lunch in the garden. We'll be back again the next time we're in Waihi

We used to eat here when it was offering casual dining but have also experienced one of their special occasion Degustation dinners - what can I say? one of the most stunning and memorable meals I have ever enjoyed. The cuisine is top class and the way they practice the 'garden to table' philosophy freshness feels very authentic. The setting may be rustic and down to earth but the food is five stars

Although it was raining and cold we had a lovely lunch in January by the fire. The shared platter was exceptional and plentiful! Service was friendly and attentive!
Mains were lovely especially knowing all the ingredients ae sourced locally. Would love to go back when it's sunny to appreciate the grounds and view.

I booked this venue for our end-of-year work function. The food was fantastic and we were well looked after by the attentive wait staff. Kelli, the events coordinator was amazing to deal with. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a large group or work event. We will definitely be back in the future!
