We had a “foodies package” booked a good whole store but COVID forced multiple rebookings which the team were very helpful with.
We arrived later than we would have liked however had an hour before dinner to enjoy the Rose Cottage and have a bottle of bubbles.
The accomodation was very old school rustic/art deco’e’, and had a certain charm about it. The surrounding trees and bush made for a lovely back drop. We had the pizza evening which starting with a grazing board of home grown/made food which was interesting and full of flavour. The pizzas were as good a pizza as you could hope for, accomodating chips were chunky and beautifully fried in a light oil at the perfect temp. The salad was fresh and had a load of flavour levels.
The hamper on arrival was sensational and the breakfast delivered to our room was also one of the better ones I have ever had (not said lightly).
The staff clearly love being part of the place and is makes for a very pleasant and memorable experience .
Very much look forward to going back.

Absolutely brilliant find only negative we didn’t book for longer. My dog fell in love with the owners dog. Everything about falls retreat is fabulous especially the food and staff.

The staff and the owner made our stay more memorable. Very accomodating. The food in the bistro is amazing. Fresh and flavorful. Worth every penny. The waterfall cabin is very cozy and peaceful. Not for everyone though since you need to climb a ladder to get to the bed. If you want to experience tiny house vibe then this is a cabin for you. Thank you Chloe and everyone in the bistro.
PS: love the bread and the starter!!!

We stayed in the Log cabin for the weekend and really enjoyed our stay. We ordered the welcome hamper and along with that and the breakfast provisions we well set up for our stay.

The fire was all set ready to light which was lovely. The cabin is well appointed and has a lovely rustic feel. While we didn't experience any of the restaurant meals it will be a plan to next time (we had a fussy teen with us so the paddock to plate was out)

We enjoyed some of the local walks. Make sure you do take advantage of the restaurant events on while you stay. We will be back.

Even the teen asked if we come back. She loved her loft private space and Even squeezed herself behind the bed for a jail like photo.

Magical setting just loved the log cabin !!! Open fire was so warm and relaxing. Staff were just outstanding friendly and very accommodating. Food was just delish. Had a hot breakfast that arrived hot and was just yummy. Planning a return trip. Thanks Falls Retreat !!
