We stayed for 3 nights over Easter with three older children.
The Lodge had everything we could need. The staff were really helpful with local information. We had some rainy weather and the lodge was perfect for watching DVD's and relaxing after a day of sightseeing. It was a short walk to the river taxi which we caught into town, it was £2 each for the taxi, which meant that the trip cost £10, we caught a standard taxi back which was roughly £8.
The park was very busy as it was Easter but extremely quiet at night, we ate at their new 'club house' one night which has lovely views over the river. Service was slow, but as the venue is new we felt this was due to poor organisation, the food was adequate.
