I spent a week here with my mom and we loved it. The flowers, the tranquility, the stroll to the beach nearby. It was wonderful to have our little cabin to come back to at the end of a day of exploring nearby beaches. And Grisell is the BEST cook!
Cabana Tuscan is a very friendly, clean, cozy, and quiet stay in the jungle. The couple who run it are very friendly. It has a very homey atmosphere, bed and breakfast vibe. The rooms are well aired, have fans, and lots of hammock and porch space. If you are looking for a quiet comfortable retreat, this is a good spot. It’s a fifteen to twenty minute walk to town or a five thousand peso tuktuk ride. The includes meals are convenient and pretty good. I loved the dinners. The breakfasts were missing juice and the bread was always dry but otherwise very nice. The WiFi works good in the common area.
Overall good stay, very cozy. And beautiful views of the surrounding jungle!
Nice big & airy room with a porch with hammocks. Excellent hosts, an Italian-Colombian couple, serve tasty food & provide for tips (not in English). Cabaña Tucan is located in a nice garden 10 min from the village center. Therefore the only music at night are (sometimes) dogs & overambitious cocks. We only booked for 2 nights - in the end we stayed 4.
We loved this place! It’s a 10-15 min walk from town and for this reason it’s nice and quiet! It was such an improvement compared to busy Cartagena (first week of January was crazy busy there).
Our room was very clean and spacious. Alícia and Marco are the owners and they run this place with much love and attention; the whole house is nice and tidy, the food was very very tasteful and such a luxury that we did not have to go out and look for a place to eat. Also Marco and Alicia are very helpful with all questions you might have. It is even possible to do laundry here.
All in all a lovely chill place with super friendly hosts! Definitely recommend this place!!
We spent 3 nights at Cabaña Tucan. From the first moment we arrived we felt very warm welcomed. The very friendly host were taking so good care about us, provides us with lots of helpful information about Capurgana and let us feel like home.
The way to Cabaña Tucan is just a short and pleasant walk along the beach form the village. Our double room was very clean and the whole builing is well maintained and an overall charming construction surrounded by a beautiful green garden.
It makes it the perfect and peaceful place to stay in Capurgana.
As we visited during the low season many restaurants were closed. Marco, thanks for the lovely dinner with your super delicious homemade italian pasta! And thank you for the unforgettable time at Cabaña Tucan in Capurgana.
