Lovely accommodation and great location an easy distance to both the Gulf of Morbihan/Vannes and Carnac (beaches, standing stones) as well as local historic towns, Josselin, Malestroit (great local market on Thursday morning) and Ploemel (Lac du Duc/water sports). We stayed in late May/early June and rented the bikes available with the house to cycle to the patisserie in Guehenno (3km) every morning for fresh bread and croissants. The house is interesting and spacious enough to play a great game of hide and seek, there is a good library and lots of kids games (Monopoly in french was a great laugh!), The kitchen is the centre of the house with good equipment and room to sit and chat with a little something to drink as well as creating culinary delights! The bedrooms are big and provide really flexible alternatives for sleeping arrangments. We had a great time relaxing in the large sunny garden playing badminton and football as well as reading. The pool table and dart board was also great for teens preparing for Uni.
We had a fantastic time relaxing but with plenty to do in the house and out and about on the bicycles with trips to the Chateau at Kerguerhennec for a picnic and more. I loved the house and garden. It was great house for us with enough room to take along more friends and family next year. We will definitely be going back again.More
