Brenna is 20 minutes drive from Siena but feels like a lifetime away. The village is quaint, tranquil and the simple lifestyle is charming. The river is close by and a baker brings bread by truck each morning around 10am. Ignacia welcome dear us and did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. The only downside was the seating in the flat. There was no sofa, just a very hard, wooden bench with a few cushions. The beds were comfy, even if the springs were very noisy. There is a local bar that makes good pizza and has a good menu at reasonable prices. If you like rustic, Brenna is the place for you.
