Nice place and close to the airport

Review of Le Vasa Resort

Such a lovely place to stay at, bungalows were amazing. so much space and the balcony looking out across the water during the sunset was amazing. We stayed here on our last night before departing and I’m so glad we decided to do so, they have their own games room and the pool was lovely. We enjoyed the walk out to their fales and had a swim in their private beach, such cool water. We’ll stay there again as it’s close to the airport. Food was good, quite pricey along with the drinks. Just disappointed as I got the special dessert of the night, pavlova and this was more burnt meringue. Other than that the stay was nice and the staff are very accommodating.

Stayed here for 2 nights prior to departing Samoa. We stayed in a cute room overlooking a lagoon. Comfortable bed, good ammenities, lovely view when tide was in but mud at low tide. The resort has lovely tropical feel with lots of plantings and flowers, excellent restaurant and huge cocktail list. They also provide kayaks and paddle boards for guest use and there is a swimming pool. Nobody was swimming in the sea but I never found out why?? Only downside was barking dogs early hours of the morning and local rooster crowing at 5am

We booked 3 nights in an Overwater fale & requested 2 separate beds for my son & I. First we got shown to the tiniest fale with only 1 bed & no room to put another & with the whole place full, the receptionist had to swap us with a couple that were in the fale next door. We stayed 1 night in fale #17 then went back to Apia to find a decent room where we could get some sleep. The rickety stretcher they put in the room for my 6ft son was uncomfortable & the noise all through the night from the water, dogs barking & then roosters was not pleasant.
However, the others in our group all had nice rooms & we thoroughly enjoyed the bar, restaurant, pool, cocktails & overall setting. Free kayak, SUP, & snorkel usage was awesome and the staff were all super lovely, approachable & helpful.

Room tip: Bring food for lunch & snacks with you, hire a car in Apia for comfort & ease. Book a bungalow or villa as they looked lovely. The best snorkelling is at Clam Sanctuary

I didn't want to leave. Sure it's a little run down but the people, food and relaxed atmosphere make up for it. It's close to the attractions, airport and the ferry. 80 tala to get to Apia. Loved hearing the singing from the church on Sunday. This trip we we to the Robert Louis Stevenson museum, Apia. Worth a visit.

I stayed in Fale #1 for 3 nights and I absolutely LOVED my stay - wish I was able to stay longer. The room was clean and had everything I needed. The food is AMAZING, and there was a great range of options. The staff were really lovely - they noticed I was travelling alone, remembered and addressed me by name every time I was at the restaurant, and always made sure I had everything I needed.
The views out over the ocean are so beautiful, and there are a lot of great spots to sit and relax. The pool is lovely, and the availability of kayaks etc. is great. Great sunrise and sunset views.
I would love to book this again if I'm ever lucky enough to visit Samoa in future.

We stayed at fale #9. Beautiful views out to the sea. The room was spacious and very clean.
The staff were so friendly and very accommodating.
Front staff were very efficient. If you don't want to stay in town this is the place to go to. will definitely come here again.

Room tip: Stock up on snacks and drinks as it's a distance to Apia town centre. Concrete is very slippery during rainy season
