When we first arrived after a difficult flight we were met by the wonderfully friendly staff, cold towels and a welcome drink. The service throughout our stay was amazing and can not be faulted the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had the best stay. The pool and beach area provides a blissful and peaceful escape and complimentary cold towels and fruit around the poolside topped off the most relaxing environment. The rooms were large and had everything we needed and were maintained to the highest standard. The breakfast was plentiful with a large selection and multiple option for everyone- my favourite part was the selection of fresh juices and smoothies available!!
Beachside yoga was also a wonderful way to start the morning and I highly recommend a visit to the spa! On our last night we tried treetops dining and although on the pricier end it was definitely worth it for the whole experience and quality of the food! Would definitely recommend the resort to anyone visiting Koh Samui.

We stayed at the Anantara Lawana in a pool villa for 2 weeks in August with our 2 children aged 11 & 13. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, the staff are welcoming and friendly, especially Moo and Oh at the pool/beach and Kiran at the front desk - you were all lovely I’m sorry we cannot remember everyone’s names! Food was excellent and a fantastic variety available for breakfast especially the fresh juices with different ones to try each morning. The beach is a coral sand beach rather than the silky sand of main chaweng and many other beaches but it’s still lovely, easier to swim when the tide is fully in. The beach sellers don’t harass you if you say a polite no thank you although the man who paddles along on his boat tooting his bike horn has the best fresh melon, pineapple, coconut and barbecued corn on the cob, delicious and just in time for mid morning or lunchtime. The lady who walks along with the bracelets and jewellery will happily adjust an anklet or bracelet to your liking changing beads, charms or even making one just for you. The villa was fantastic, slippers, bath robes, nespresso coffee machine, umbrellas, hair dryer, torch, iron and ironing board all standard in the room. Nothing was too much trouble and the whole resort was relaxing and peaceful, the villa smelt wonderful with oil burners and fresh fruit every day. We would definitely return to this hotel, it is perfectly placed, away from main chaweng yet an easy songthaew ride away from fishermans village, Lamai, chaweng and anywhere else you feel like going.

Now a returning guest of 11 times and the experience simply gets better each time. A huge thank you to the whole hotel. Concierge, front desk, restaurants, pool bar, housekeeping, gardeners to name just a few. First class.

Wonderful facilities and staff to help with everything. Great restaurants with delicious food and stunning weather to use the pool and beach. Very accommodating with requests. Check out process could have gone smoother.
