Me and a group of friends stayed there for a week and I think I speak for all of us as the place was magnificent in the middle of beautiful environment of Montelupo Fiorentino. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpfull. Special thanks to Davides lovely wife for cooking a full traditional Italian dinner for 9 persons and no-one was left hungry. Not even close! Make sure to ask Davide to organize a visit to wine farm for tasting and purchases. Also, don't forget to exploit the tomatoes and spices which the garden supplies. And prepare yourself to recycle everything!
We rented a car which I highly recommend for all, since many great cities such as Pisa, Livorno, Lucca, San Gimignano, Siena and many others are relatively close to this site. Also, it takes little bit more than 20 minutes to Firenze by train. Super market "COOP", banks and shops are a couple of minutes away by car.
Because of the accommodation, facilities, location and hosts this place deserves 6 stars, but since its not possible, I'll settle for 5 stars. Hope to visit this place again sometime soon.

very nice house with a lot of rooms and a bathroom for everyone
large swimming pool and very big garden with fruit and vegetables.
the owner lives next door, is very friendly, and helps you with everything.
Toscane has many beautifull places to visit !

We stayed here for a week last May. My parents, wife and kids and brother's family. 7 adults and 4 children between 5 - 11. The property is very well maintained with 5 bedrooms and a well equipped kitchen and large living room with a huge balcony.
Davide and Licia are great hosts. They took the kids to a farm and the kids absolutely loved that. Licia cooked some excellent local peppers for us one day. There was a barbeque and a pool, but we could not use these much because it was cold that week.
The village is very nice and has a couple of good restaurants fairly close. I would recommend driving if you are staying here, because all the major Tuscan sights are in driving distance. Florence (20 min), Pisa, San Gimignano, Siena (45 min).
We had a wonderful time and hope to return soon.
