We were delighted with every aspect of our two night stay in this friendly and comfortable hotel. Our spacious room had a huge private terrace, and there was also a beautiful lounge with sofas, magazines and games as well as a small rooftop pool and terrace. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Delicious breakfast served in a lovely, light dining room. Excellent honesty bar with soft and alcoholic drinks as well as tea and coffee.
Great views. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Jordi was in charge for our two-day stay in November (the pool just warm enough for some brief swims!) and provided such a positive welcome. The help-yourself honesty bar is a good feature although you may have to buy your own milk at the local Spar shop if you want some in your tea. Breakfasts were outstanding, with lovely buffet and even bacon-and-egg if you like it, and very generous packed lunches for walkers. The hotel does not do dinners, but the excellent Tasca Telémaco restaurant is just across the road.

Room tip: Rooms at front (overlooking the street) have best views

With access to some coastal walks we enjoyed the facilities of this hotel. We marvelled at the pool and it’s terrace views of the stunning area. Comfortable beds, big breakfasts including cooked eggs, of a wonderful fresh fruit selection. The staff were extremely courteous & helpful. A restaurant neatly opposite & the El Fero ‘light house’ restaurant that over looks the beach with fresh fish a 20 minute walk away. We had a little terrace from our room which we left the door open to at night to cool the room whilst we slept.

The lady who co-runs the hotel is very pleasant and welcoming. Check-in was easy, and she provided some useful information. She also cooked nice breakfast some mornings and was always very busy and eager to please; the guy who on my last morning cooked and checked me out was not so friendly, and appeared to have more pleasure in having much conversation with German customers.

The hotel itself is a very attractive place to stay, with an interior courtyard-type area on the first floor around which are the rooms over two floors. My bedroom and bathroom were a good size. There are a few restaurants in the locality, but only one is within easy walking distance down the road opposite the hotel where the service was poor. There is a nice shop up the road selling drinks and cakes, and a kilometre towards the coast is one of the best sized supermarkets I found on the island. There is plenty of parking coming down the road towards the church.

The wifi connectivity was unreliable, sometimes it worked in my room and sometimes not... and sometimes it stopped working altogether anywhere in the hotel. The hotel is right next to a church, so the chimes can be slightly annoying but they do stop between 10.30pm and 8.00am. There was sometimes a dirty-drain smell present in the bathroom.

On arrival we struggled to find the correct door & then it was very dark inside. Reception was closed but our key had been left in the dark entrance area. So all was well & we accessed the room which was a good size with a lovely patio. The shower had good flow but the hot water ran out on the 2nd evening.
Then we went down to go out for a meal & spoke to receptionist who demanded a passport & was not very pleased that we did not want to return to our room straight away to fetch it. Reluctantly she agreed to allow us to bring it down the following day. Breakfast was excellent & the waiter was much more pleasant than our 1st encounter with hotel staff. We used the pool on the 2nd day & loved the private area with views of the church tower & beyond.
We got a picnic lunch on the 2nd day & were amazed at the quantity of food. An excellent pack & we were also asked which foods we would prefer.
