“Beautiful in every way”
Reviewed 23 December 2013 for a stay in December 2013

Just got back from 5 nights at 2 Cheviot View. We loved the apartment, the views, the village of Rothbury, and the walks.

Wanted to stay for more like two weeks. There is so much to see and do - beautiful walks, historical places to visit and small market towns for local produce. We had to stay an extra night just to have a rest before heading home.

Would love to visit again.

“Outstanding property with outstanding views”
Reviewed 20 September 2013 for a stay in September 2013

We were delighted when we saw the location of the property - the views are amazing! Cheviot View is a good sized apartment with modern furniture & decor. The two en-suite bathrooms are a bonus when 4 are staying, plus there is an extra loo as well.
The apartment was extremely clean, & was very well equipped to cater for ourselves. All the rooms are large, and the lounge has brilliant views of the Northumberland countryside - an added bonus to wake up to on a sunny morning!
As the owner lives next door, this came in very handy when we went out one night & all forgot to take a key! Thanks to Andrew, who came to our rescue. Another added bonus.
Rothbury itself is a lovely village, which is well placed for exploring Northumberland.

“Fantastic”
Reviewed 20 September 2013 for a stay in September 2013

What a wonderful apartment this is, we stayed for 3 nights with my partner and 2 friends and it had everything we needed and more. What a beautiful view to wake up to on a morning or sit and watch on an evening with a glass of wine as the sun goes down. The weather was cold but sunny and I can imagine that when it was hot it would have been great to sit on the patio and barbecue and take in the view and relax. The apartment was very well equipped and tastefully decorated and very spacious we will certainly be back

“What a lovely place”
Reviewed 6 August 2013 for a stay in July 2013

Westcliffe House is well located for the surrounding sights of Northumberland, close enough to the coast and the inland hills and forests. Our stay in Cheviot View was wonderful. The accomodation is modern, stylish and very well equipped. The premises is quiet and relaxing - we both slept extremely well in the comfortable bed. And last but by no means least - those views, who needs the TV !!

“A little haven from the hussle & bussle of the world”
Reviewed 18 May 2013 for a stay in May 2013

Fabulous week away from the hussle & bussle of a big city. Cheviot View at Westcliffe delivers stunning views of the Northumberland National Park. The apartment was immaculate with a well equiped kitchen if you have the desire to cook in. Westcliffe is ideal for touring Northumberland and would recommend Cragside House, Alnmouth beach, Morpeth Town and for those wanting to travel a little further Bamburgh. When visiting Rothbury village do drop into Harley's Cafe and have lunch with lovely tea & cake to follow. Andrew provided a wonderful warm welcome and a lovelt welcome basket.
