The complex is spotlessly clean. Kelly and Stuart are very helpful. The apartment, while slightly small, is perfectly suited to our family's needs. The festival was on during out stay and didn't finish until 4.30am the first night. My advice would be to forget about sleep and go out and enjoy the festivities. The pool ( July 16) while unheated was actually quite warm and there were plenty of sun loungers and parasols. The surrounding villages/resort was a little quiet but that suited us. All in all, I would highly recommend

Room Tip: back rooms don't have evening sun so arent stiflingly warm at night. Are also away from road. Disadvantage is that you don't have sea view.

this was a second trip to Club La Mar having rebooked after last year. Stuart and Kelly, who administer the apartments, are extremely helpful and friendly with lots of knowledeg of the Island to share.Have now stayed in two of the apartments (42 ans 79). Both are fab and maintained to a very high standard. 79 is quieter with rear view but fab for a bit of peace: 42 also fab (enormous balconies!) with great views of the sea and mountains. The area is just great with plenty of choice of resturants (Boobys Indian and the Fishermans get a special mention and the resturant downstairs from the appts does THE best steak!) and two beaches to choose from. There is a local supermarket with all you need if want to cook in anytime. There is a lovely seasdie walk to nearby los Gigantes. Bus service is fab if you want to go to other places on the Island. Trips to recommend include the Masca Trek (tougher than we imagined!), Flpper Uno, and a Wine Tour with Minolo which Stuart can tell you about: great day out. I love this place for a nice winter sunshine break: Las Ameicas and Los Christianos around 45mins-an hour bus trip away for livlier night life but still plenty to do in Puerto Santiago. Going back again next year!!!

Room Tip: ask Stuart wat you want and he will do his best to make sure you are happy

We had a lovely stay in our very comfortable, well-equipped apartment. We ate in most of the time and the kitchen had everything we needed. When we did eat out we were very impressed with the meals we had and the prices were very good too. The Swiss restaurant located on the corner of club le mar always had a 'special' on and the food was always cooked fresh and very good value. There were quite a few restaurants, all within walking distance, and they all looked good. Our apartment overlooked the sea on one side and the mountains on the other. We did use the pool a few times for an early morning swim. It was cold, but we expected that, but it did not bother us. When you were in swimming, you soon got used to it. All the areas were kept clean and tidy. Stuart and Kelly who manage the apartments were extremely friendly and helpful. There was a bus stop very close by and the bus service is excellent and good value. We caught buses to the north and south of the island which was great as you really do not need a car to get to most places. There was also good supermarkets and shops nearby too. Puerto Santiago is a quiet resort which is what we wanted but we often walked into Los Giantes and back again. It is quite hilly but lots of benches to sit on and stunning views as you walk. We have infact booked to go again for our next holiday.

A good sized apartment, clean and comfortable - in a great location - centre of a bustling little town. Lots of nice restaurants and bars within walking distance. The apartment (44) had good air-con in all rooms, a decent sized balcony and nice decor. We were close to the beach too. There are two pools for Club La Mar residents use only and no problems getting a sunbed by the pool either! I certainly recommend Club La Mar.

We would highly recommend the apartment we stayed at here (No 58). Club La Mar is in a perfect location to access several lovely local beaches. As we stayed here for a month we regularly walked down to Los Gigantes, Puerto Santiago and Playa De La Arena. We enjoy walking and our children were six, nine and 16 so were able to walk up and down steep hills but the walk is always worth it. Local cabs are very cheap we used these when we walked into Los Gigantes in the evenings to watch different shows and slightly busier bars. The couple in reception Stuart and Kelly are so friendly and helpful and gave us great ideas of places to visit and walk to, they could also explain every excursion and highlight the best restaurants in the area. We also got buses to several further destinations as well as restaurants. When our washing machine stopped working they called in a local handy man and had it working by end of day. There were restaurants of every nationality along the strip all delicious and fairly priced to the right and then if you walked to the left there were more busy bars with entertainment in the evenings. The pool area was also lovely and it was always easy to secure a sun lounger. We will definitely be back. I would be there now if I could.

Room Tip: We stayed at no 58 at the back of apartments overlooking pool
