We stayed at Llannerch for a weekend and had a lovely time. There were 5 adults in our party and the accommodation was very comfortable and well equipt. The "star" of the stay is the location: up a steep drive on a hill overlooking the river valley. It is a perfect relaxing spot to get away from it all with plenty of wildlife to see. The buzzards and red kites are marvelous to watch. The location near Bala is perfect for exploring all the best North Wales has to offer: both beach and country.
There are only two things I would comment on to be aware of; the long and very steep drive up to the property requires a vehicle with the ability to get up the track, and then you can only go in first gear. Also there were no cooking provisions/welcome pack at all on arrival so you have to bring everything you need (including salt and pepper!) As it is remote it is not a quick pop out to the shops!
That being said, it is well worth a visit.
Beautiful cottage stunning area. Total seclusion, just what we were hoping. Can't wait to go back. Don't let the steep narrow track put you off, it is so worth it! Owners and housekeeper both very pleasant people to do business with.
The best holiday we have had. The cottage was perfect we did not want to leave!
Everything you need is there and the gardens are beautiful - we cannot wait to go back next year.
What a great place to spend a week unwinding and being close to nature. The wind blew one night and I saved a fallen twig from the oak tree in the photo, this will be a reminder of time spent at Llanerch. We had an amazing week in this safe, secluded and tranquil setting in the comfortable, spacious cottage and made many happy memories. Feeling blessed.
We had a lovely weekend at Llanerch sitting out in the garden and enjoying the view in the sunshine. Lots to do in the area and wished we could have stayed for longer.
