“Lovely to curl up in front of the log fire.”
Reviewed 9 February 2015 for a stay in February 2015

As a warm welcome to the cottage we were treated to a lovely afternoon tea.
Everything in the cottage was meticulously clean, exceptionally organised & well thought out.
Due to the colder weather in February we took advantage of the well-stocked log fire, making the Snug even cosier.
We were spoilt for choice in Masham with four public houses & two local breweries.
The Snug was well located for local attractions & trips further afield; the abundance of information & leaflets for days out were very useful.

“Lovely Little Cottage”
Reviewed 29 January 2015 for a stay in January 2015

The Snug (clue in the name) is a lovely little cottage set in the middle of Masham. It was very clean, warm and comfortable. Though the cottage is small it doesn't feel like that and thought has gone into it's planning. Didn't bother with the wood-burning stove, although plenty of wood free to use if we'd wanted. We travelled with our dog and the real wood floors are easy to keep clean. There is a decent sized back yard that isn't fully dog-proof, but is fine if you supervise your dog. The front door does open straight out onto the street. Though not a very busy street, parents and dog owners need to be aware of this. There are areas to let your dog have a run just a short walk away and all the local pubs welcome dog owners too. The communications you receive from Karen are excellent and we hope to return again...... if you will have us?

“A beautuful Yorkshire retreat!”
Reviewed 5 January 2015 for a stay in December 2014

This beautiful cottage is literally a minute's walk to the main square of Masham. The town is a fabulous base with an array or interesting shops, cafes & pubs and the cottage is a cosy, welcoming and well equipped retreat in which to enjoy it!

We stayed over new year with our two young daughters and all enjoyed every minute. We'll definitely go back and have already recommended it to friends!

Thank you Karen!
