A real gem in the Pembrokeshire crown. Fantastic hosts made our visit so pleasurable, a real home from home. There is nothing to dislike about the stay and will certainly be number one on our places to stay.

We booked this bed and breakfast for the night following our son compeating in the Ironman Tenby. As we were not sure what time we were going to return Gareth and Tina were very accommodating allowing us to collect the room keys earlier than booking in time. The room was immaculate beautifully decorated with an en suite bathroom with over bath shower. The added touches to the room of white, rose and red wine made it even more welcoming as the public house across the road was closed when we returned home. So after a long day we were able to have a nightcap before a very restful night. The full breakfast was superb. The bacon and sausage were definitely locally sourced no sign of super market produce here. Tea and coffee were plentiful and being able to relax on the sofas and chat was relaxing before our journey home. We hope to return soon for a long weekend break.

Room tip: All rooms are excellent

This is our first visit to Pembrokeshire. We chose Ty Merlin given its exemplary reviews , location and quality of accommodation.
We stayed for 4 nights to allow sufficient time to explore the amazing coast line- it’s not enough so we will be returning.
The scenery is staggering and walks around the area are endless. We had one days rest to take in Pembroke Castle which was equally amazing - an entrance fee of just £6.50 also covers a free tour. We had a young lady called Isla who was incredibly knowledgeable, if you are lucky our host at Ty Merlin, Gareth could be your guide, read the Trip Advisor reviews To see how good he is !!!
The breakfast at Ty Merlin is Fresh, plentiful and so tasty, Tina provides the best Eggs Benedict , the walk is needed to use up the calories.
This has been a great break made better by a wonderful room in a beautiful property with Hosts who provide great advice on where to walk, where to eat and to make the best use of your time. 10 out of 10.

We stayed with Gareth and Tina for 2 nights and we couldn't fault our stay with them.
I called them several times to arrange our visit, we had to cancel a room last minute due to family illness, they were very accommodating and patient with me!
They were very welcoming and the breakfasts were amazing. We hope to return with the rest of the family next time!
