A beautiful quiet secluded location with access to waterfront that has amazing sunsets and stunning views of the stars at night. Within 15 minutes of just about anything and everything in the Tobermory area.Well stocked with just about everything you need. And Dylan gives excellent advise for hiking and photography locations. Thanks Dylan, it was a delight to stay at your place. We will definitely be going back to this gorgeous area again.
The trailer was super clean and the kitchen had everything needed. Very private and quiet location which makes it super relaxing. We enjoyed our stay :)
We stayed at the resting loon first 3 days of August. Dylan was there when we arrived. His Dad also came later on in the day, and was so kind to walk with my husband to the lake to show him exactly where the pathway was. Dylan and his Dad are both great people that will do what they can to make your stay pleasurable. The place is in a private lot around trees 10 min drive to town. It's less than 5 min to The Grotto. Make sure if you want to go there you get your permit at 7 am. Later on you have almost no chances. The boat cruises are also in town, 10 min. There is a foodland and LCBO there but NO Tim Hortins for at least 80 km. The singing sands beach is also like 5 min drive. The trailer is in a great location to get to everything.
Take bug spray as even during the day you find them landing on you. Everything like BBQ, microwave, stove is all working well. There are no glasses, so if you enjoy drinking with one bring them along. There are no tupperwares or large bowls. I would also recommend bringing all your bedding other than pillows. No one will bother in this lot that's for sure, tucked in from the main road.
First time going to Tobermory and Dylan made t an amazing one! Wish we could've stayed longer. Thank you for all the assistance given and the prompt responses. We will soon be visiting again.
Absolutely loved the place!! It was the perfect gateway for the weekend. Very Cozy and organized. Dylan and his dad were more than helpful, even giving us a ride when we got stranded at the Bruce at the Bruce Trail. Looking forward to visit again.
