Room was very nice, quiet and clean. Beautiful view of the sea.
Front desk staff, not so friendly. Not sure why but I was in line at least 5 min while one staff member stood there doing nothing. No eye contact. A couple went in front of me and all of a sudden she knows how to serve. Very strange. Saw her later by the pool and got offered a very sarcastic "have a nice day"
I’m giving this hotel a 5 simply because the good, for us, outweighed the bad. But it isn’t perfect and you might be put off because of the architecture. On the other hand you might find the negatives a real problem. So I’m going to try and be really fair.
The good:
The staff all without exception happy and helpful
The restaurant has a small but well cooked menu. We particularly liked the chef on 28&29 April
It was really worth paying extra for the sea view
Comfortable beds and room but see below
There is a spa but we didn’t use it
Great for bus and trams
Great for beach and facilities
Very clean
There’s a car park for those that need it
Right by dunes for walks
The bad
I did not like the bathroom saloon doors and the bathroom was tiny. 2 people could not be in there at once.
There’s no lift to the spa/pool
The lifts! Oh my days. 2 for the entire huge hotel. And 1 is definitely a problem and was out of action for 24 hrs. The doors take ages to close. This could be a frustration for people with pram/wheelchair
The pool is tiny and really not good for swimmers (children playing and adults standing in the water talking). I could do the entire length in 5 strokes to give you an idea! But would be great for kids because it is so small!

Choice of sea view and of bed should be added (and if there is no availability then the customer can make a better decision).
I booked a room category for these reasons, paying much more and in the end I got a back view room with a twin bed that has a considerable gap between the two sides. As this was a romantic weekend away, our expectations and plans did not materialise with the booking.
Also the check in time is too long.
You also use unnecessary administration that I believe load the employees and become slower. Automated emails with coupons, entry passes to the health club, etc. Would make both our lives much simpler…

Great location beautiful sea view from the hotel room with my wife we spend great time . Every staff that I met, from Frontdesk to Kitchen and to Housekeeping, staffs were delightful, friendly and eager to help! I can feel the Hospitality. Thank you!

Stumbled upon this hotel when an accommodation fell through-how charming! A true treasure at the beach. Comfortable rooms, sweet, helpful and welcoming desk staff, courteous room staff.
Don’t be fooled by the on premise restaurant menu- they may not list pages but that’s only because they don’t have to. Each dish I’ve ordered is a flavorful surprise.
And the desserts aren’t to be passed over-perhaps the descriptions could be better but the one I remember most should be called Berries in Snow- a delightful combination of white chocolate vanilla ice cream medallions atop a valley of berries. -hats off to the chef.
