We were booked for a beach walk in winter and as the weather was very bad we went to the farm instead.
It was fantastic we got to feed the Female Alpacas look at their babies and see the Alpaca boys and feed them too.
Pav and Mark are natural hosts very lovely and friendly.
We had a wonderful day even thought the weather was a bit sad it didn't stop us from enjoying a bush walk through their beautiful property, so serene and gorgeous views. They also showed us where they host homestays and that was beautiful. Such a beautiful place! We hope to be going back very soon.......

Fantastic walk with 4 alpacas along the beach. Our kids 12,11,and 6 loved it (and so did we). Time spent at the farm was fantastic too. Pav and Mark were wonderful hosts. So much more than just an overnight stay. They made us feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend a night (or two) at their place. The accommodation was beautiful. We slept a very relaxing 9.5 hours! The kids got up close with the alpacas and helped feed them. Very happy memories made. Thanks so much for the experience.

It was a pleasure to have you all stay here. Glad the weather was favourable for the campers ! It was so nice to see the wonderful interaction between your 6 year old and the alpacas in the paddock.

We've been with Pav's and Marc's Alpaka farmstay for 3 days to relax and have a little contact with these beautiful animals. And it was really fantastic. The flat was very luxurious, incredible silence at night, wonderful starlight and great meals with Pav and Marc. Last but not least: Marc can tell you a lot about steam cars and boats and other technical things. It is a great experience to spend some time here.

We stayed at week - perfect. Not too far from Auckland in a really interesting area. Good price. Free wifi. Clean. Great bathroom and facilities. Off the beaten path. Alpacas pretty interesting - I helped feed them every day and got quite fond of them. Gorgeous beach at Uretiti. Interesting museum at Waipu. Left relaxed, clean clothes, tanned and ready for NZ.

What a lovely way to spend an afternoon, walking these special animals along a long and beautiful beach. The kids just loved it. Pav and Mark are the loveliest people and you can tell how much they care for their animals. We also stayed at their place for the night - accommodation and hospitality was exceptional. Mark and Pav are incredibly gracious hosts. Rescued me when my breakfast plans went awry with fresh honey and Pav's beautiful homemade bread. Will definitely be back.
