We have just returned from 2 weeks at this hotel, and will start with the positives.:

We had a very nice room on the fourth floor with a side view of the beautiful bay.
Most importantly, we found the staff to be of a very high standard in comparison to most hotels we've visited. We would like to mention in particular, Viera and Katarina, the ladies on reception, who uniquely combined competence with kindness. Also, our cleaner who worked really hard and kept the room immaculate.
The food was of good quality and varied at all meal times.
The setting of the hotel, adjacent to a lovely little bay, and with an ample garden was very attractive. There are stunning walks in either direction along the coastal path, accompanied by lizards, kingfishers etc.
The local bus service is an added asset, the fares are 1.5 euros each way and the buses are regular.

Abby and Jon, the Tui reps were very helpful when completing the passenger locator forms required to return home.

Moving to more average offerings, the beer and wine is drinkable but the local spirits are poor.
We also found most of the entertainment to be mediocre , but it is fair to say that many of the other guests seemed to enjoy it.

Many of the negatives were issues that were outside the hotel's control, for example, guard dogs in the boat yard opposite barking at night. Loud music from the restaurant next door until 2.45 am one night and loud building works nearby which could be clearly heard from the hotel garden. When some of these issues were raised with the hotel, the hotel did take action to mitigate them. Likewise, if guests engaged in anti social behaviour, the staff were quick to sort this out.

There did not appear to be a dress code at meal times which meant that whilst some people made a big effort, others arrived dressed in denim and sports shorts.

Our main issue with this hotel, as others have mentioned, is the lack of a dedicated area for smokers. This means that the outside balcony and the outside eating area of the restaurant, are pervaded by smoke from cigarettes etc. Given that we are all trying to stay safe from Covid, we would have preferred to sit outside, but, as non smokers, often found ourselves forced indoors to the one bar area because of the amount of smoking. When the entertainment was not to our liking, we had to go to our room. We note that many other guests have mentioned the lack of a no smoking outdoor area and we feel this is an important point for the hotel to consider.

Overall, this is a very nice hotel, but we hope that some of the points we have made in this review will help others to know what to expect.

Me and my wife, like most, enjoyed our first holiay since the Covid pandemic, and I am so delighted to have choosen this country and resort.

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and looked after, safe, secure and the staff were outstanding. I read lots of other reviews before booking, so felt obliged to do the same. We have just come back from a 10 night holiday and had a wonderful, relaxing and comfortable stay at this resort.

As others have said, if you can afford it, book the sea view rooms - we stayed in room 338 and had outstanding views each morning/evening from our balacony.

There is one main pool, a outside juccuzi, lots of loungers and the beach is only a few steps away from the hotel. If you walk either left or right from the beech path you will encounter other tucked away beeches and outstanding views of the coast. Brilliant for snorkerlers - fish are amazing - but buy some rock shoes for comfort (read this in a past review and helped us no end). Sea water is lovely and warm.

Went out of the hotel for a few excursions - highly recommend the Black Pearl Pirate tour. Bus stop is outside the hotel - easy access to Protaras and Ayia Napa - found both to be great for shopping. We walked to both Palrlamni and Pernera - really nice niche little towns to explore/shop. Meet some great locals whilst out and about - so friendly and delighted they had tourists back.

All said, it is the staff that make or break your stay in any hotel. As others have stated, I can only agree that this hotel has the one of the best teams I have encountered (I used to be a manager for well known travel company so can honestly compare globally). We were greated by Sanna (outstanding TUI rep - always smiling and available to guests, with a good local knowledge), and booked into our room by Kristina (allways helpful, gave us bus time tables, useful local tips, booked our al'la'carte reservation, printed out our locator forms etc..).
We were looked after at the pool bar by Will, Maureen, Joony and Kostas - can't thank them enough for there service, banter and drink making capabilities. Kostas aka "BossTas" claimed he knew how to make over a 1000 drinks and we tested him! - he came up trumps every day.
The main food restaurant was impecibbly run by the Marios - greated us every day with a smile, and offered outstanding service. On the one day my wife was unwell, allowed me to take our evening dinner up to the room (Room service is not avaiable at this resort) so this kind gesture was hugely appreciated. Thank you also to Theo, Wasima and Tatania, as well as all the other chefs and kitchen staff for preparing and delvering an outstanding array of meals each and every day - like others we have put on some weight, but each bite was worth it :)
A speacial mention must go out to Anna - our cleaner - she was a joy to be around, and every request was no trouble at all. Her towel art was amazing and her hard work made our stay even more special.
Apologies for all the other receptionists, bar staff and TUI reps whos names I did not get during our stay - all were just as wonderful and caring. You all made our holiday so memorable.

As a frequent traveller, I do not tend to go back to the same country that often, but I would highly recommend this hotel and country to all. A lot of other guests I talked to, had been coming back for years - and it is no wonder why. If I were to visit Cyprus again, there is no better place I would want to stay.

Stay Safe and well all.

Room tip: Choose a sea view room, if you can afford the upgrade.

This was our first time travelling for 2years because of covid. We've travelled all over the world and let me tell you this a gem of a hotel.

The food is excellent and has so much choice even for a picky eater like myself. We had Al la carte one evening and it was stunning as was the service, especially as they brought out a birthday cake to celebrate my husband's birthday. The main restaurant, the head waiter greets you at the door with a lovely welcome. There are hand sanitisers as you enter and gloves for you to use when selecting your food.

The bedrooms are immaculate and the young girls work extremely long hours. Throughout the hotel everything is so clean and welcoming.

Thanks again to Will and Maureen that were kept busy all day bringing our drinks to our sunbeds...you were amazing.

Anyone thinking of booking I wouldn't hesitate. There are a lot of returning guests and I can see why. The staff in all departments look after you and make sure you are having the best time.

Little touches like the Tui reps bringing melon around to our sunbeds and juices. I thought that was lovely. They were also helpful with helping clients returning to the UK...downloading forms ect.

All in all we've had a fabulous 10days and only left the hotel once. So we are well rested. Thank you to you all for looking after us for a very much needed break.

Take care all and stay safe ❤ xx

Friendly staff, spotless comfortable room, excellent quality and variety of food , superb location, plenty of sunbeds, no blaring music.

Just a couple of suggestions to make it even better - maybe a changing cubicle on the grass near the beach and a (large!!) no smoking area on the bar balcony.

Room tip: Ask for a sea view - all the rooms are excellent quality though
