We stayed for nine nights as a family of three.
The apartments are in a fantastic location, about 100m from the beach with bars and restaurants within a minute walk.
The AC was included in the room rate which was good. Rooms were very clean and well appointed. Bathroom had a bath with an overhead shower and was modern so no flooding which was a relief at shower time.
Pools were clean with plenty of loungers. The onsite supermarket was very useful and well stocked.
Pefkos is a lovely resort and reminded me of how Greek resorts were in the 90s.
Overall I would highly recommend Matina and would definitely return.

myself and my husband stayed here half board for 10 nights
really loved it !
rooms basic but clean fine for all we needed
food … was amazing
you eat in the main restaurant on an evening and you pick off a menu (some things you have to pay a supplement) whatever we had we could not fault !
breakfast was in a separate dining area lots of choice eggs Greek bacon pastries yogurt always something to eat .
location is ideal turn left and within minutes your on the beach !

Back again for another year at Matina - great staff! Great place! Great location - Stergos in Matina bar an absolute legend - Sarah at Reception first class what a gem she is so helpful and such a compassionate girl - Stefanos the sons owner very nice & helpful & considerate - cannot do enough for clients! People’s bar staff are all great - overall the best place to stay in Pefkos - great for families and children alike - the playground area needs attention and this has been observed by the owners!
Overall the most friendliest of places to stay with families - we are here with our children and grandchildren and they have enjoyed the pools every day - time goes by so quickly! Peaceful at night albeit they do have entertainment but not too bad considering - always a worry when you have young children that need to sleep!

Perfect family hotel. Cannot rate this place high enough. From the friendliest welcome at reception to beautiful pool areas good value supermarket and snack bars clean spacious rooms and entertainment. What more could you ask for. Beach is just a 5 min walk as is the main strip with a wide selection of bars restaurants gift shops and pharmacy. We travelled as a family of 5 incl two 5 ye olds and couldn’t have wished for a better holiday ❤️
