What a lovely place...cleaners work hard, excellent pool areas. All staff so friendly. Special mention to Dinada and Sara on reception who were both so pleasant throughout our 2 week stay. Also filiw and sterges in pool bar who made us laugh every day. Such a lovely holiday in beautiful clean surroundings. Thanks to everyone who made our holiday so special. Hope to be back soon. Just back from 2 weeks holiday at Martina Aparthotel. Pefkos, Rhodes
A huge thank you to the reception team specially Denada, Sarah, Fiona, Algis & Lulu who went an extra mile to help & guide us with smiles.
Ami (Jet2 rep) was also very helpful at organising excursions and always eager to help.
George (Giorgos, in Gk.) at the Happy People, Poolside bar was amazingly helpful.
We went self catering. Accommodation basic but clean, central location so never cooked at home. Pools were clean & beds available plentifully. Excellent wi fi reception throughout at all times.
Beds comfortable and clean linen changed regularly and towels too.
Very good location, surrounded by brilliant restaurants & shops.
Generally quiet and very little street or external music/ noise. Taxis and buses to Lindos, Lardos and other destinations were reasonably cheap and fixed price.
ABC Supermarket was comprehensive, on site & reasonable. Ani the supermarket manager was always happy to help.
Best feature was the beach only 2min walk beautiful golden sands, clean and sunbeds/ parasol on hire at €15/day, at €20/day the beds were super quality parasols had a key operated safe, USB charger outlet and a sun screen-absolute luxury.
So nothing to complain. Would definitely return.

Excellent location. 50 meters to a lovely sandy beach restaurants and bars on your doorstep. We had a one bedroom apartment. Very clean and everything you needed for basic selcatering. Good air conditioning. Apartment was cleaned daily and towels and linen changed every 3 days. I was very impressed dont normally get this when you are selcatering. Staff delightful especially reception staff. 2 lovely pools. We went to the more adult one a bit quieter. Could always get a sun bed. They were comfy and had a parasol for shade. We always like to try different restaurants but after eating at the complex one returned 5 times as food soo good and excellent value and lovely waitress who has Nice beach bar one minute away to have a drink first. Also did a greek night at flyers restaurant situated overlooking the beach. This was excellent value for money. Good food and great entertainment. Only down side small resort not much to do during the day other than beach and pool. We did the very cheap and relable bus to rhodes town and lindos one day. Nice relaxing holiday

We didn’t actually stay at this hotel, however we came here everyday of the holiday as our family were staying at these apartments and there is not one complaint I could make.
The staff were so lovely, pool area is perfect with plenty of sun beds (there were 11 of us and we always managed to get beds) and was very clean.
We did get to see the apartment rooms our family had and you couldn’t complain - basic but exactly what you need.
There is a supermarket onsite as well which is ideal.
I didn’t stay here this year, but if I return to Rhodes I will definitely not go by it.
As a travel agent, I will be highly recommending these apartments.

Just back from two weeks at the matina. There are a lot of good things about it - the two swimming pools (we generally used the “quieter one”), the on site supermarket (very handy and long opening hours), the proximity to the beach and the friendly staff.
Just a couple of things to mention that people may want to take into consideration if considering staying at the matina-
We booked self catering. There were sufficient supplies to allow us to have breakfast and lunches but I wouldn’t say enough to cook much meal wise (e.g only knife aside from sandwich knives was a bread knife). There were also only small tumbler glasses etc. this was fine as we ate a main meal out each day (lots of good restaurants close by) but it’s to make people aware I think it would be difficult to go full self catering.
Secondly, the live music was extremely loud on a couple of occasions, enough that I queried changing rooms and checked the schedule so I could know whether to expect disrupted sleep or not. It did stop at midnight but I have a young child who was kept awake until then. I queried the possibility of changing rooms but was told it wouldn’t help as the live acts alternated between being at the two on site bars so any apartment would have the noise sometimes.
we had a lovely stay and would return again despite this.

With regards to our evening entertainment, we are very transparent about the entertainment that the Hotel provides and the timing of the shows. We have to cater for a broad age group of guests, and generally our guests eat out in the evening between 7pm - 9pm and therefore evening entertainment would commence at around 10pm - this is the same for all of the Hotels in the area. As mentioned, we are very transparent on this and therefore assume that guests with small children would have researched this prior to booking the Hotel. We are very proud of the excellent standard of entertainment that the Hotel offers to our guests and have received fantastic feedback from our guests since we introduced this programme.
