Can't find anything to complain about we felt the staff were so attentive rooms spotless the whole complex was looked after very well. Breakfast was very good lots of choice. Would highly recommend. Lovely to watch the wedding that took place and really enjoyed the entertainment 😁😁

This is the third time we stayed at island blue - generally very good as always but main difference this time from previous visits was the sunbeds. Previously you could wander to the pool at 9ish and get four sunbeds this year people were putting towels down in the middle of the night so a lot of the time by 7am all the beds were taken (many not being used until the afternoon). It detracts from the enjoyment of the holiday and could easily be rectified by the hotel. We ate at the Italian restaurant one night (set in the olive trees garden) which was new to us and had a great night. Waitress was great fun, lovely setting and really good food - would definitely recommend it as an alternative to walking into town. Apart from the sun beds a great holiday once again. Special mention to katerina in reservations who was incredibly helpful sorting out couple of things for us before we arrived.

Thank you for feedback with regards the sunbed situation. Its a very awkward and difficutl situation to manage because ultimately who should be ones to remove them? The cleaners whilst they have a job to clean the pool area before they start their usual cleaning of rooms, the pool staff who have to then stop doing their job and delayed doing their next job, the bar staff who then have to deal with potential confrontation from the guests all day if they get mad for the situation? We leave notes, we add signs, we expect people to be respectful of their fellow guests and not do this behavior. We get it sorted then the changeover days happen and new guests arrive and the cycle starts again sadly.I understand its very frustrating for guests and we do hope this doesnt out you off from future visits as i think this is a common occurrence in most hotels in the height of the season.

Good size room top floor (343) brilliant showers , fridge a bonus . Pool great, plenty loungers although the 'not putting towels down before 8am' not enforced, saying that always got a decent spot. Pool bar great, music does not affect your peace and they play some great music and the lunches we had were very tasty . Breakfasts plenty choice. Not sure where another reviewer was eating or at what time, but we found the food hot and tasty, my only gripe would be for there to be onions to go with the cold cuts and cheeses. We were intrigued as to why the two onsite restaurants were under used , it put us off booking but pefkos centre a mere 5 minutes walk. Staff at breakfast , pool bar and cleaners extremely friendly . Very peaceful at night you can hear the nearby bars slightly but
that all stops at a reasonable hour. Onsite supermarket handy and we did takeout pizza one night from a restaurant next to the hotel. Beach lovely , sun loungers we got were 25 euros for the day and the sea is fabulous , even I swam many times, warm and not stoney . All in all we will be back !!!

Where to start ? First day I ask a question at reception and couldn't get an answer so asked if the manager could send me a memo to answer my question ? later that day I had a letter placed in my room accusing me of behaviour like this ? But no explanation of what kind of behaviour : I have not been asked ???🤷♂️
If mr Xenofon Asprakis spent more time on customer relations and less time in the Almyra pool bar eating and drinking coffee he might see some of the things that are not right in this hotel , breakfast, eggs, beans, bacon potatoes, all cold every day. His staff in the breakfast hall, unwilling to help but very good at taking the Mickey out of guests 😡 not helpful . Lots of guests and their children have had medical problems over the last two weeks ear ache, stinging eyes , discolouring of swimming clothes after being in the Almyra pool ( maybe over chlorinated ) . This then prompted the said manager to perform chemical tests in a food preparation and eating area several times using what I could only see as chemicals surely this is not correct . General cleaning of the rooms, shower rooms and toilets very rushed and basic hygiene .
If you like peace and quiet this is not the hotel for you. Loud music starts at nine am and goes on till after 12 at night when the staff and the manager gather to have coffee drinks after their shift from the restaurant. More staff than this restaurant needs not used by the hotel guests and overstaffed . This hotel aspires to be a top hotel but falls a long way short of other hotels on this lovely island:

Hotel Manager
Just back from a 2 week stay here. We had a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment and loved our accommodation. It was very spacious and clean. The hotel is only 5 minutes walk from the beach and 5-10 minutes walk from the main strip which had a huge choice of wonderful restaurants and bars. We ate out every day for 2 weeks and didn't have a bad meal.
All the staff we encountered were friendly and special shout out to the lovely staff at the pool bar who work so hard all day in the heat. Pool bar has a great selection of food and was of a very hight standard.
Lindos is 10 minutes away in a taxi, there is a bus stop close to the hotel. We also did the Glass Bottom Boat trip from the beach which we would recommend and Rhodes by night .
The only negative was the wi-fi in our room was non-existent but worked ok around the pool and in reception. We had an amazing holiday and are hoping to return next year.

We have tried several different options with the wifi and have several boosters and routers around the resort but the sheer vast space of the complex and the amount of people using it at one time at points can cause the signal to drop or be slow.
